5-by-5 didn't start as a software product. It started as frustration — the kind you feel when you're managing aircraft ownership with a spreadsheet, a group text, and a binder of PDFs.

After decades in the cockpit and watching fellow pilots cobble together the same clunky workarounds, we set out to build the tool we always wished existed. Something pilot-first, genuinely simple, and capable enough to handle the real complexity of aircraft ownership — whether you're flying solo or coordinating with a group.
